Please don't leave and shut the door.
The door that closes out the light and allows the darkness to enter in.
The blackness steals the warmth out of the room.
Slowly crossing the floor engulfing and devouring everything in it's path.
Nothing is left except the black hole of emptiness.
Screaming with the hollow sounds of loneliness.
Cold wind blows across the soul.
Robbing the energy of life like a thief in the night.
Please leave the door open even just a bit where the light can guard against the dark.
